Escamillo

Escamillo started his career as a premium stallion at his 2017 licensing in Verden, passed his 14-day test in 2018 with a dressage score of 9.08 and passed his sport test under me in 2020 with a winning score of 9.36. As a five-year-old, we qualified for the dressage horse national championships with a 9.5 and were nominated for the dressage horse world championships. However, this was cancelled due to the Corona pandemic.

The individual scores that then led to his winning World Cup silver were uniformly terrific. For his elastic, diligent and already very well balanced trot a 9.2, for his energetic canter with a pronounced floating phase a 9.0 and for his almost perfect walk through the body a 9.5. For the easy and even contact, the supple transitions, the wide crosses in the traversals and the very secure and powerful upward jumping changes, the judges then once again awarded a 9.5, just like for the perspective.

Escamillo also made it onto the World Dressage Horse Championships (bronze) podium as a seven-year-old under Manuel with a score of 83.072 percent after finishing second in the final qualifier.

Escamillo's dam, Verb.Pr.St. Cassila, is a full sister to the licensed stallions Romanist (advanced (S*) level dressage) and Romeo Niro (medium (M**) level dressage). The granddam Chantal is a full sister to the licensed and Grand Prix successful Dumont, the half-brother Aquavit (by Argentinus) is successful in international show jumping competitions.

The line of the El.St. Cinderella, which is maintained at the stud of Paul and Peter Wendeln, also produced the five Bundeschampion full siblings Sir Heinrich OLD, Cindy OLD, Candy OLD, Caty OLD and Casey OLD (all by Sir Donnerhall I).
