Tesla

Dark chestnut KWPN stallion, *2015
by Vitalis - Johnson - Houston

Z.: G. W. ten Pas/NED

B.: Wilhelm Berning, Billerbeck

Tesla always achieved top placings in dressage tests for young horses under Sabrina. As a six-year-old in 2021, he won the medium (M) level dressage test for young horses in Ankum. Tesla was already convincing at his 14-day test in Schlieckau as well as at his two sport tests in Münster-Handorf, just as he was with his offspring.

“Olympic blood" flows in Tesla's veins, as he comes from the famous mare line cultivated by Herbert de Baey in Lemgo. His sire is the Burg Cup winner Vitalis, his dam is a full sister to DJ/Fleur Verbeek/NED, who was successful up to Inter I, and his granddam is a half-sister to Kaiser Franz (by Krack C), who was licensed and successful up to Inter I.

Tesla's great-granddam is the half-sister of the four-time Olympic Champion (1988 and 1992), three-time World Champion (1990 and 1994), six-time European Champion (1987, 1989, 1991 and 1995) and German Champion (1993) Rembrandt (by Romadour II)/Nicole Uphoff, as well as the licensed stallions Royal Angelo I and II (both by Rosenkavalier), the latter successful up to Inter II, and the Grand Prix winners Rosario (by Rosenkavalier) and Ramon (by Ricardo). And of course, the Olympic champion Ahlerich/Dr. Reiner Klimke and the Olympic participant Amon/Annemarie Sanders-Keyzer/NED result from this line.

An extremely charming mover who knows how to present himself with a lot of energy and expression with good follow through in well balanced uphill. Also thanks to his remarkable rideability and always active hind leg motor with terrific perspective.
