"Mausi" showed a very fine round in the Grand Prix of Balve and, as I found, a very confident round. She is becoming more and more confident in the quite fast sequence of the required highest difficulties and remains very well focused on my aids during the whole Test. At the same time, I can now dare more and more to ride out her possibilities. That is a great feeling! Not only in the trot work, but also in the canter. With a score of 74.720 percent, Annabelle (breeder and rider: Günther Fielmann) placed sixth in the competition. Tomorrow we go into the Special and with it the first decision for the German Championships. The Special is clearly our favourite Grand Prix test, because the line management keeps the flow of movement so beautiful and the horses, as I always notice, can simply develop beautifully. And when we are not being chased by a ground maintenance tractor while riding off, like today, which Mausi couldn't really take to her heart, then (hopefully) nothing stands in the way of riding fun ...
